Open Sky Community Services offers dynamic and supportive internship opportunities for students across a wide range of educational levels and degree tracks. We host interns from undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs in fields such as social work, psychology, counseling, human services, occupational therapy, public health, and related disciplines. Our internships provide hands-on learning, high-quality supervision, and meaningful participation in multidisciplinary teams serving individuals with complex behavioral health needs.



For students interested in substance use treatment and recovery, Open Sky provides rich experiential opportunities within our substance use programs, including outpatient counseling, integrated dual-diagnosis services, and recovery support programs. Interns gain exposure to evidence-based practices, harm-reduction approaches, care coordination, and team-based treatment models. Whether you are preparing for licensure, completing practicum hours, or exploring a career in addiction services, our programs offer a strong foundation in compassionate, person-centered care.

Renewal Integrative Psychotherapies LLC is a licensed and accredited mental health and substance abuse clinic in Worcester, Massachusetts. We provide services including: outpatient therapy, Children's Behavioral Health Initiative - in-home services such as Therapeutic Mentoring, In Home Therapy, In Home Behavioral Therapy, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, Intensive Outpatient Program, SUD and MH evaluations for court, Parenting Capacity Evaluation, Psycho-educational groups- Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Nurturing Parenting, SUD Education, Behavioral Health Urgent Care, Recovery Navigation, Recovery Coaching, Medication Management.

Resilience Behavioral Health is a Day Program located in Walpole, Massachusetts, providing comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder treatment. The program supports adults who need structured, therapeutic care while still being able to live at home. Services include daily clinical groups, individual counseling, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, case management, and relapse-prevention support. The treatment model focuses on stabilization, coping skills, and long-term recovery planning.



Resilience Behavioral Health also offers a structured internship program for students in counseling, social work, psychology, and related fields. Interns receive hands-on experience in group facilitation, documentation, clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and interdisciplinary teamwork. The internship includes weekly clinical supervision provided by licensed professionals, opportunities for training, and exposure to both mental health and substance use treatment modalities.



This setting provides a supportive environment for developing strong clinical skills while working directly with a diverse population in need of higher-level behavioral health care.

Interns work directly with persons served by the program in partnership with staff (Recovery Coaches, Recovery Support Navigators, and Certified Peer Specialists). Connect2Recovery supports individuals in recovery from substance use and mental health conditions as well as justice involved individuals. Services are provided in the community in the geographic regions around Milford, Norwood, and Somerville.
