Peer Support Coordinator – Living In Recovery
The Peer Support Coordinator provides non-clinical, peer-based support to individuals in recovery, helping them build and maintain a healthy, sustainable recovery journey. This role emphasizes respect, participation, and the shared experience of recovery while fostering a welcoming, peer-led community.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the daily operations and community environment of Living in Recovery.

Meet with members individually and co-facilitate peer-led groups.

Assist members in creating relapse prevention plans and accessing recovery and community resources.

Help recruit, train, and orient new members and volunteers.

Encourage peer participation in decision-making and community activities.

Maintain confidentiality, uphold policies, and contribute to a safe, supportive environment.

Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and required trainings.

Provide transportation and support at community meetings, trainings, and events.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of sustained recovery.

High School Diploma or equivalent; Recovery Coach Certification preferred (training available).

Familiarity with the local recovery community.

Valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification, and ability to meet physical requirements.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position, requiring flexibility for evenings, weekends, and special events.
