Applications due 4/7/23: Exploring the Role of Employers and Systems in Peer Recovery Support Specialist Retention - Training & TA Series

The Peer Recovery Center of Excellence is accepting applications from across the country for 10-15 employers of peer recovery support specialists to participate in a Training and Technical Assistance opportunity aimed at making changes over the next six months.

Through small and large group trainings, as well as organization-specific TA, peer recovery support specialist (PRSS) employers in a variety of settings will be able to build tools and skills to reshape their relationships with systems and adjust organizational policy in order to better retain their PRSS staff.

This interactive training series is designed for employer and staff groups from organizations or programs that may include peer run respites, recovery community organizations, warm / hotline providers, community-based programs, and grant-funded programs. Please be aware that this training and TA series is not intended for individual PRSS. Rather, it is designed for programs or organizations that are committed to implementing concrete changes over the next six months designed to improve the retention of their PRSS staff. This training and TA series is designed for the facilitators to work with groups of staff from each organization, such as leadership staff, a program manager and administrator, etc.
