The FIRST Steps Together Training and Technical Assistance Team invites you to join our FREE webinar exploring how connection supports recovery, parenting, and family well-being.

Parenting while navigating recovery can require strong, supportive connections. This interactive workshop introduces providers to parenting recovery capital—the relationships, resources, strengths, and supports that help parents sustain recovery and build strong, healthy family relationships.

What you’ll take away:

  • Identify and strengthen recovery capital with families using practical, strength-based supports
  • Use connection and attachment principles to support healing and family well-being
  • Apply reflective, curiosity-based strategies to respond to parents’ feelings, needs, and goals

Best for: family service providers, recovery support specialists, home visitors, behavioral health clinicians, child welfare providers, and anyone else interested in understanding the connection between parenting and recovery capital.
