This course will cover the DSM-V-TR diagnoses in theTrauma and Stress-Related Disorders chapter as they related to clients with mental health, substance use, and criminality issues. CPTSD and other proposed disorders for future editions of the manual will also be discussed. We will review common signs, symptoms, diagnostic criteria, and current medications for each diagnosis. This course will be interactive utilizing lectures, small and large group discussions, case studies, and film vignettes to reinforce the materials presented
