This training focuses on all aspects of guiding principles that form a solid foundation for effective substance use treatment programs for young people, as well as best practices for screening, assessment, and engaging youth and young adults in substance use services and supports. We will explore a variety of evidence-based clinical practices that are recommended for use in substance use and co-occurring treatment programs for youth and young adults. The training will also include an overview of the BSAS continuum of care for youth and young adults, including treatment, peer recovery supports, and family recovery resources.
