Link House Inc. is a private non-profit human service organization serving the Northeast Region of Massachusetts for the past 50 years with outpatient mental health and addiction services. Link House Outpatient is a dually licensed program in mental health and substance use disorders.

We are seeking an Assistant to our Nurse Practitioner team, to support our two Nurse Practitioners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prior Authorization facilitation
  • Medication refill assistance
  • Working with pharmacies around patient medications
  • Triaging bridge-script requests
  • Other refill & medication questions
  • Triage calls from patients
  • Facilitate urine drug screens
  • Follow up on urine drug screen results and communicate with NP
  • Help schedule/re-schedule patient appointments
  • Assist with back up front desk if needed
  • Assist with sending medical records
  • Assist with reporting related to the NPs
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate and necessary by Link House, Inc.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Formal education, Certified Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counselor, Alcohol and Drug Counselor License preferred.
  • Training and/or life experience in human services and a working knowledge of addiction and recovery
  • Psychiatric Nursing background preferred or equivalent formal training in supervision or volunteer work in human services
