 Description: BSAS Working with Youth & Young Adults for Recovery Coaches & Youth Serving Advocates is an 18-hour learning experience built in a modular format to maximize engagement & delivery options. In its entirety BSAS Working with Youth & Young Adults has two MAIN goals:

• Prepare peer recovery support professionals and other youth advocates to serve youth/young adults equitably & effectively within an integrated health care system.
• Practically apply & demonstrate skills/tools to improve both engagement & outcomes.

Bottom line: Recovery concepts, principles & skills often “translate” differently across developmental stages. We want folks who work with youth & young adults to recognize how their words & actions can foster more authentic connections & build better relationships.
