Description: The training team will present a virtual interactive program that integrates best practices and principles regarding training for cultural humility in prevention, treatment, health care, and human services while communicating essential knowledge and nuanced understanding regarding Native communities in Massachusetts.

The training team will be able to connect and interact with attendees.

Objectives:

​Upon Completion of this training, the participants will (be able to):

  • Describe one or more best practices for working with Native clients and communities effectively
  • Describe one or more key concepts of cultural humility and cultural competence
  • Apply concepts of cultural humility and cultural competence to working with Native communities
  • Apply specific knowledge and increased understanding of Massachusetts Native peoples to their work with Native clients and communities

The evaluation will be emailed to you upon completion of the training. In order to receive your CEUs please email the evaluation back to Emelie@adcare-educational.org within 2 weeks of the training.
