The Franklin County Perinatal Support Coalition invites you to join us for: Perinatal SBIRT Training with Enid Watson
This two hour training will focus on Brief Interventions and the basic components of Motivational Interviewing (MI) used in Brief Interventions for substance use. At the end of this training, attendees will be familiar with MI tools that, when practiced, can assist them in supporting pregnant women toward a healthy pregnancy.
Who should attend: Obstetricians, midwives, registered nurses, psychiatrists, social workers, mental health counselors, medical assistants, or any clinician who cares for women during the perinatal period.
Enid Watson, M.Div., of the Institute for Health and Recovery, is the Director of Screening and Early Identification Projects.
