Peer Recovery Coach Training, 30 CEs in Four Domains.
This training is designed for individuals looking to begin their journey as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate or Peer Recovery Coach in the substance use field or for professionals/individuals seeking to become better equipped on interpersonal engagement with individuals suffering from substance use disorder (SUD).
This training provides 30 CEs. Choices is a NAADAC Approved Provider.
Peer recovery coaches walk side by side with individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. They help people create and develop their own recovery plans and pathways. Through empathy and empowerment, the coach builds a unique relationship with an individual in or seeking recovery. Which is grounded in trust and focuses on providing the individual with tools, resources, and support to achieve their short, and long-term drug use and wellness goals. Peer recovery coaches work in various settings, including recovery community centers, drug courts, treatment centers, religious communities, primary care settings, and more. In addition to providing the range of support encompassed in the peer recovery coach role, they take an active role in outreach and engagement within these settings to educate communities around SUD to improve outcomes.
All classes are virtual and run from 9 am – 4:30 pm. Register before March 1, 2022 – $375.00. After March 1, 2022 $425.00.

Upon payment, your registration will not be complete. You must read your receipt and follow the instructions to complete your registration. You will not receive your manual or zoom instructions if you do not complete your enrollment. Please do so promptly. Enter your proper mailing address in which to receive the training manual. If you relocate or your mailing address changes, please notify Choices immediately to ensure delivery of your manual. Additional charges may result if not notified of an address change two weeks before the start date.
All training will be conducted via Zoom. You will receive Zoom login information 1 week prior to the training start date.
***Cancellations must be received within two weeks of the start date to be rescheduled or refunded. All refunds are subject to a processing fee. No exceptions.
