DESCRIPTION:

This NIATx Coach Academy training will provide experience in both the theory and practice of process improvement coaching.

Process improvement is used to achieve broad healthcare goals such as increasing effectiveness and efficiency of care, as well as to improve the implementation and sustainability of evidence-based practices.

Coaching has been shown to be the most important element in supporting NIATx improvement projects.  This training is appropriate for those seeking to deepen their knowledge of organizational improvement theory and practice, for those who wish to coach within their current organizations, and for those seeking certification through NIATx.

To receive the optional certification, the candidate needs to complete this two-day Coach Academy and a mentored supervision while coaching change teams.  As possible, candidates for certification will be invited to serve as faculty in future NIATx trainings, such as the Fundamentals, up-coming Change Leader Academy, and Learning Collaboratives which integrate NIATx.

Due to space limitations we will be giving priority to those with prior NIATx training and experience.  For questions regarding the content and applicability of the training please email regarding your interest in this training to TommieBower@gmail.com.
