Description: Join us for our dynamic and inclusive GPS Facilitator Training and bring impactful, trauma-informed, evidence-based and community-tested support groups to your recovery/treatment program!

This is a 2-Part training including six (6) training modules and two (2) practicums in Part I, followed by five (5) practicums in Part II.  Participants are required to commit to  both Part I and Part II to complete their training.

 

Part I of this program begins on April 5th, 2022, and runs through April 28th, 2022, with practicum sessions to follow. Please refer to the Program  Schedule tab for full details regarding this training series.  Part II will run from May 4th, 2022 through June 17th, 2022. You will need to attend a minimum of 5 part II sessions.

GPS Group Peer Support provides you with the map to support people in your recovery program. GPS is a perfect tool for diverse communities facing unique challenges. Whether you are supporting those in recovery, parents, students, faith communities, communities striving for solidarity,  those struggling during COVID, or dealing with grief, GPS is an effective and impactful approach to support connection, resilience and participant’s ability to act on behalf of themselves, their families and their communities. GPS is a nationally-recognized Group Model that is being successfully implemented in state, local and community settings, in English, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic.
