BSAS Recovery Support Services Coordinator Receives Peer Workforce Champion Award

Julia Ojeda, BSAS Recovery Support Services Coordinator, receives DMH’s first Peer Workforce Champion Award

At its annual National Mental Health Month event on May 21st, the Metro Boston Department of Mental Health (DMH) presented Julia Ojeda, Bureau of Substance Addition Services (BSAS) Recovery Support Services Coordinator, with its first Peer Workforce Champion award. In receiving the award, DMH recognized Ojeda for her “tireless dedication to recovery coach training and certification.” Metro Boston DMH’s daylong annual event focused on the peer workforce and integrated health care.
