Women Recover! Relationships Conference

Event description
Sponsored by BSAS
Yes

The Women Recover conference is an opportunity for substance use treatment providers to learn skills and strategies for gender-responsive addiction/recovery treatment for women and families.

This year's topic is Relationships: connections are important to recovery, but unhealthy relationships also contribute to addiction morbidity. Throughout the day we will explore various types of relationships and present ways to integrate relationship skill-building into gender-responsive treatment services.

This conference will focus on the relational context of addiction. Intimacy, boundaries, self-attunement, and isolation will be featured topics in a day packed with panels, workshops, and opportunities to learn and connect! Don’t miss it!

This conference is primarily designed for substance use treatment providers who serve women and families. This conference is not designed for people who are in treatment or recovery, although many providers are also in recovery, and they are likely to gain skills and insights from the agenda that serve them in more than one way. We are also open to medical providers, researchers, educators, policy makers, and other interested professionals.
