Calling all substance use prevention educators! Is this current vaping crisis affecting your school community? Do you want to increase your skills to teach substance use prevention?

Join us for a FREE summit for middle school educators to learn about using Project Here’s resources to teach substance use prevention. 

SUMMIT GOALS:

  • Learn skills to provide effective substance use prevention education to middle school students
  • Learn tips to integrate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and vaping prevention lessons from our Project Here Online Toolkit into the Botvin LifeSkills lessons
  • Explore interactive web-app Project Here Games to teach SEL and substance use prevention to middle school students
  • Foster educator connections to support work in Berkshire County

Participants will receive PDP credits for attending.

Substitute teacher stipends may be granted upon request.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

All public middle school (grade 6-8) educators, administrators, staff, SROs, & members of prevention coalitions are welcome to attend. Limited seats available and priority will be given to school personnel.
